This is a simple password protection option for ZIMACS and Set-up programs. It minimises the possibility of unauthorised use of your system. Please note that the program password is not known or visible by support personnel.



When you install the software the password is set as PASSWORD but is not enabled. It is important to note that the password is case sensitive.

To set a new password:

1. Click the Set button and enter the password of your choice.

2. Check the Enable box to use the password to gain entry to the software.

Tip: Do not leave Enable Password checked if you cannot remember your previous password. ZIMACS/Zetset will prompt for the forgotten password when re-started and Technical Support cannot help as the old password is not visible to them.
