Pressing the File button on the main toolbar brings up the Files section of ZIMACS.

This section has been included to allow Zetnet customers who use ZIMACS to request various files including various popular utility programs.

The benefit of using ZIMACS to download files is that they are compressed by Zetmail and may download faster.

Categories

The categories section displays the general headings into which the files included fall. By clicking on the heading a list of files within the category will appear in the Files section.

Files

The files section displays the list of files available within the different categories. If you click on the file and hold down the mouse button a short description of the file is displayed, i.e. name, what it does, file size etc.

If you wish to request a file for downloading, simply double click on the filename with the left mouse button. This file is then added into the last column on the screen. It will also show up on the Files Requested For Downloading  panels on the Main screen of ZIMACS.

If you decide that you do not want to download the file then press the 'Unrequest All' button on the Files screen.

If you want to download the file it will be sent to you the next time you connect to Zetnet through ZIMACS.

The list of available files is updated on a regular basis. Press the 'Request list update' button to obtain the latest list (this list is no longer sent automatically; you have to request it manually).
