You can Spell Check both your outgoing Mail and outgoing News items for spelling mistakes. ZIMACS comes with a British/English dictionary with approximately 113,000 words.

Pressing the 'Spell Check' button on either Mail Write or News Write screens will search for mistakes. Errors will be shown as below:



To accept a suggestion, highlight the word and press Change.

If you are sure that the word is spelt correctly then click Ignore and optionally add it to the custom dictionary.

There are a number of options that can be changed using the Options screen:



'Check during typing' is not recommended as there is a noticeable performance penalty.

Other options should be self-explanatory.
