An Auto connection connects to the server, sends pending mail and news then downloads any packets that are waiting for you. The connection is then terminated (unless it's a dial-over-lan connection).

The status panel appears at the top left hand corner of the screen:



Pressing the down arrow will show details of time on-line today, totals for the month etc.



When the connection has been established the transfer window appears showing the amount of data to be downloaded, progress so far and the estimated completion time:



Tip: The Zetcall window can be dragged away from the default top left hand corner and will return to the last position when restarted. Re-positioning is easier on an Internet connect as the window will be visible for longer.
