I have entries in my killfile, but nothing seems to be killed.
Click the Killfile button in ZIMACS. At the top right corner there are two checkboxes labelled Mail and News, as shown below.
You must have at least one of these boxes ticked for the killfile to have any effect; tick one or both, depending on whether you want your killfile to apply to emails, news items or both.
