The Message of the Day is missing. The Message of the Day (MOTD) may be missing if you are using a fresh install of ZIMACS - if this is the case, it should be displayed after you have connected. Alternatively, if there is a problem with the server that delivers the MOTD then you will be unable to download the MOTD until this is dealt with. A third possibility is that there was a problem with your ZIMACS connection - for example, you were cut off before downloading the MOTD. In that instance, the MOTD should download on your next connection. If you wish, you can view the MOTD on the web by going to the Zetnet home page and clicking the System Status link at the right hand side. |
