1) Enter the address zimacs.zetnet.co.uk in the location bar of Netscape and hit return.

2) Click on the link entitled "Download ZIMACS", and download the "ZIMACS on-line installation" file.

3) If using Netscape version 4 or earlier, a dialog box similar to that shown below will appear. Select "Save File". If using Netscape version 6 ignore this step and go to step 4.

4) Type c:\windows\desktop\zsetup.exe in the "Filename" section of the "Save as" dialog box that appears, and click the "save" button.

5) Once downloading is complete, minimise any windows that are open to go to your Windows desktop, then doubleclick the zsetup.exe file.

6) The installation routine will begin. Note that you need to remain connected to the internet whilst ZIMACS 2 installs. Now go to Section 2.
